Background Information

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. John Ouano, Dr. Wael Youseff, Dr. Jennifer Frangos, Dr. Mitchell Loo and Dr. Monika Patel manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. They practice the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery, wisdom tooth removal, trauma, pathology, TMJ disorders, facial pain and corrective jaw surgery. These include techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort.

Our staff are trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art surgical facilities. Outpatient sedation and general anesthesia patients are continuously monitored during their surgery and throughout their recovery period.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Metrowest Oral Surgical Associates are experienced, certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Assistants, who assist in the administration of IV sedation, general anesthesia and surgery. The surgical staff are licensed surgical dental assistants in the State of Massachusetts. Our administrative and business personnel are well versed in handling questions regarding your medical and dental coverages. Our entire staff are CPR certified.
